The Boston Christmas Festival 2024 is a festival running through the town of Boston. There will be a variety of entertainment over a 3-day period.
The event will be from Friday 29th November to Sunday 1st December and will be free to attend as well as free parking in all Boston Borough council owned car parks from the 29th November- 1st December (and the first three Saturdays in December).
The Friday night will kick of the festivities, where you can experience the main light switch on at 6:45pm and the Pescod Shopping centres lights switch on shortly following at 7pm. After the switch on an illumination parade will take place with stilt walkers, reindeer performers and flying Santa’s, as well as a performance from Lincolnshire’s “hottest function band” Stolen Fridays. In addition, St. Botolph’s Church (the Stump) will hold community events throughout the day.
Day 2 of the Christmas festival will feature Boston’s Got Christmas Talent taking place on the main stage and family-friendly activities like the fairground rides at Bargate Green 12:00pm – 6:30pm with a quiet hour at 12:00pm-1:00pm.
Finally, the last day of the celebrations will have the annual Santa Fun Run as well as some Christmas crafts and carol singers.
